Life Is Great

Oh wow, I get to go shopping tomorrow!  The ride to the big mall is a long one, but worth it.  I like the scenery.

I’m exercising again and counting calories.  I’m definitely getting fitter.  I love to watch Dancing With The Stars while doing my workout on the treadmill.

I look forward to getting things organized this weekend.  My husband built a garage and has moved his tools and things out.  That gives me some room to work with.  Oh yeah!

I got a paycheck in the mail that I was not expecting.  Great!

After getting the house straightened up as it should be, I want to paint my living room and kitchen so that it will be more inviting.  White walls will be a thing of the past!

I cleaned up my sewing area a few days ago.  It is so much nicer now.  I can’t wait for my house to come together!

It’s A New Day!

There is a new purpose to my life this morning and I am excited to share it with you!  Just a few minutes ago I was so sad because I missed the relationship that I used to share with Jesus Christ.  I read a few emails that were sent to me and the messages were just what I needed!!!!  They both pointed to the relationship that you have with the Lord.  Well, I was REALLY missing that bond I used to have.  So I just bowed my head after reading that 2nd email and asked the Lord to forgive me and to help me to be a light for Him.  I want to shine and never let my light grow dim again!  I want to have such a bond that nothing or no one could ever shake it again!!!!!

I’m here to let you in on something.  I am getting a makeover–a spiritual one.  I am going to be so beautiful when God gets through with me!!!!!  I want to allow Him to do with me whatever He needs to do until He achieves the result He wants.  I’m so excited about this!  What a way to start this day!  Readers, I know you think I’m silly!  I’m putting everything in God’s hands now.  That’s the smartest thing that I have done in quite a long time!!!!!

What To Do?

Today will be a great day.  I have a positive attitude to start with.  It makes a difference how you approach things.  I’ve got so many things going for me.  I won’t even try to list them!  I love life.  I love this time to blog.  What a way to express yourself!

I want to make some music with my fingers.  Piano practice is on the list.  I want to connect with my family in Alabama.  Phone time is on the list.

I’m going to approach my housework and organizing skills in a better way than usual.  I will tell myself that….

  • the house will be so inviting after a good cleaning!
  • I will not have to go through all those sticky notes to find those new phone numbers.  They will be in one place after today.
  • I can send all those letters back to Mama when I finish the scanning.  That will be out of the way.  Plus, I will find more great history about my family as I’m reading them for the first time.
  • I will be ready for unexpected company, no worries then!
  • my refrigerator will be inviting and the food will be accessible.
  • my son’s room will be in working order with my organizing skills.  He will thank me for it.
